Atsuhiko Misawa (born in Kyoto in 1961) is a representative modern wood sculptor of Japan.
The “ANIMALS” series, the creation of which began in 2000, depicts a variety of life-sized animals that exude a sense of presence and have gained wide popularity with people of all ages, from children to adults.
Don’t miss the chance to see the expressions shown by the animals created by Misawa in a space that is unique to an urban art museum located 80 m above the ground.
