A special stage performance by geiko(geisha) and maiko, who are constantly working hard to improve their skills, is held every spring. This special stage performance comprises three parts. Some of the works are theatrical, and the stories that always have a happy ending are well-received. The second part is a traditional performance where you can enjoy the world of geiko(geisha) and maiko. Kamishichiken Yakyoku is the standard finale song, and the geikos wearing matching black crests and cute maikos wearing contrastingly colorful kimonos complete the event with a dance. The 90-minute tour is sure to make your Kyoto experience even more memorable.
