"Kagurazaka Odori," which has been held at the Ushigome Tansu Community Hall as a performance designated as a local cultural property of Shinjuku Ward, will move to "THEATER MILANO-Za" for its milestone 40th special performance, with three performances over two days. We aim to create an environment where more people can enjoy the performance and widely disseminate the charm of traditional performing arts.

THEATER MILANO-Za is a new theater that opened in May 2023 and is attracting attention as a new cultural hub in Kabukicho. This performance will utilize its state-of-the-art facilities to showcase dance, nagauta, tokiwazu, and kiyomoto performances by geishas from the Kagurazaka geisha district, conveying the essence of Edo-era charm and traditional performing arts to the modern age.
