Late 19th century, London, England.
Helen, who was born and raised in a wealthy family, had loved sketching plants and animals since she was a child.
She had a particularly deep knowledge of mushrooms, and the intricacy of her sketches was truly remarkable.
However, her unique ability to find beauty and stories even in the most ordinary scenes led people to view her as an eccentric; despite being set up on numerous blind dates, she was repeatedly rejected...
Her mother sincerely wished for someone who truly understood Helen to be by her side.
Ron, who had just joined the publishing company inherited by his older brothers from their father, was stuck in a rut after being put in charge of the children’s book division, which was not a mainstay of the business.
He was the frail third son, from whom the world held absolutely no expectations.
One day, Ron came across one of Helen’s postcards that had been brought to the publishing house.
Deeply moved by the breathtakingly beautiful illustrations and heartwarming story, Ron persuades Helen to publish her first picture book.
If only she could live happily with someone who loves her just as she is.
An original musical paying homage to the life of Beatrix Potter (1866–1943, UK), author of *The Tale of Peter Rabbit*.
