In collaboration with the Helsinki Art Museum (HAM) in Finland, the "Tove and Moomin Exhibition: Searching for Special Things" will be held in 2025 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the publication of the Moomin novels, allowing visitors to fully experience the creative world of Tove Jansson.

This noteworthy exhibition features approximately 300 works, including early oil paintings, satirical drawings, and original Moomin illustrations and sketches, allowing visitors to enjoy these valuable works up close.

With its immersive exhibition design that makes you feel like you've stepped into the world of the stories, this is a must-see not only for Moomin fans but also for art lovers.


Opening hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (until 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays) *Last entry to the exhibition rooms is 30 minutes before closing.

Closed on: Mondays (except October 12th (public holiday) and November 23rd (public holiday)), October 13th (Tuesday), and November 24th (Tuesday)


*Admission is free for high school students and younger. University students and those under high school age must present their student ID or student handbook.

*Residents of Kobe City aged 65 and over can receive a 50% discount on the general admission price by presenting proof of age at the ticket counter at the venue on the day of the event.

*People with disabilities can enter for free by presenting their disability certificate or similar document.

*Tickets cannot be shared. If you plan to attend on multiple days or separately with a companion, please purchase your own tickets in advance.
