”A Midsummer Night's Dream” is a funny fantasy play about a love commotion caused by the antics of forest fairies.
It is a popular work that has been performed in various forms in countries around the world and has been adapted to film, picture books, dance, opera, and music.
Kushida has directed this play three times before, but this time he and eight actors from different backgrounds, including a former top star of Takarazuka, contemporary dancers, the Haegawa Theater Company, and the Hanagumi Shibai, will enter into the great original work with their unique ideas, deconstruct it, and see it as a dream shared by strangers and familiar humans, and look at our world in the 21st century.
